Noah Coad Presents Great Tools in VS 2008 at Tech Ed 2007

I've always been a big fan of performance analysis as well as unit testing and code analysis. The integration just keeps getting better. Now, for example, you can right click on a method name and say "Generate a unit test". You can also right click on a unit test and say "Give me a performance metric". Very cool.

Published: at 08:00 PM<p>XamlWebPad is a free tool build by Peter Kellner that allows you to see your own Silverlight Xaml rendered. Because Blend does not give us an easy way to tell what tags are in the Silverlight WPF subset, this tool makes working with a Xaml designer much easier. Specifically Vista Sidebar Gadgets. On stage, I build a complete Sidebar Gadget from scratch that displays information for our upcoming Silicon Valley Code Camp. Actually, the site still refers to last year, but the web service interface has been updated to show the new date which likely will be October 27th, 2007.</p>
